After a long hiatus, I’m back… and sporting new wears from Anthro… love this color!
eShakti – Made to Order Clothing!
June 2, 2010I hope everyone had a sunny Memorial Day weekend! I surely did and have two bright red sunburned knees to prove it.
Recently, I’ve been hearing a lot about “made to order” clothing – and also how complicated it can be to actually place an order because of all the strange measurements they request. The gals and I were just talking about this at lunch today.
Low and behold, I sat back down at my desk and found what looks like to be a new, very promising “made to order” clothing site called eShakti.
. . . and they have some REALLY cute stuff.
It looks like you can order any item through their standard sizing (0-26), but still can choose the length of the skirt, for instance), or you can totally customize your outfit for $15.

May 24, 2010Outlast Lipcolor – Best Bang for Your Buck
May 21, 2010The ladies in the office know of my recent conundrum with lip color (I know, what a problem). They also know of my obsession with red lips.
On Friday, CVS was having a BOGO sale on my favorite new lip product, CoverGirl Outlast All Day Lipcolor. Since Friday, I’ve returned three different shades. I couldn’t decide! What if I made the wrong choice!
…
My favorite, and final choice ended up being the “Ever Red-dy” shade, #507. I LOVE the color… and what I love about the product the most is that it DOES NOT fade. I actually need to use makeup remover to take it off at night so I don’t go to bed looking like… well, you know.
So, if you’re looking for a good, solid, drug store lipcolor, go straight for the Outlast.

May 13, 2010Steal of the Day
April 23, 2010I saw these Mossimo sandals on Amy from ShopMamie last night… and they’re great! I have been eyeing a very similar, more expensive pair by Steve Madden, but seeing these in person, you really can’t tell them apart. For $22.99, there are no excuses!
UPDATE: I received these sandals a week or two ago and wanted to let you know that they do, in fact, run a little big. I had to return the 7.5s for 7s. Otherwise, they’re great!
To Clog or Not to Clog?
April 21, 2010Hi folks,
Sorry I’ve been quiet the past few weeks… I feel like I’ve been in a fashion/writing funk recently, but I’m feeling back in the groove. I sadly didn’t get a call back from Rachel Zoe’s people for that contest, but I suppose my big break is yet to come : )
So, to start off, I thought I’d get your opinion on yet another new – old – trend: the clog. I never really liked clogs when they were popular back in the day, but the latest iteration is making me look twice – maybe. What do you think of these two?

March 26, 2010Be the Next Big Stylist!
March 25, 2010Hi everyone!
Long time, no talk. Buenos Aires was a great time. The weather was beautiful -70s every day- and Ariel’s mom’s art show was a hit. I also did A LOT of eating… of some of this:
and this….
And lots of drinking of this:
Anyhow, since I’ve returned, I’ve been entrenched with his contest Rachel Zoe and Piperlime.com are running called “Be The Next Big Stylist.” You can check out the details here.
To quickly summarize, I had to put together three looks (unlimited entries). The first look is for a client’s ten-year high school reunion, the second for a high-powered exec who wants a day-to-night look, and the third a client who needs a dress for a best friend’s wedding. Here’s a look at my top 3:

What’s In My Bag – Buenos Aires
March 8, 2010On Wednesday, I will be journeying once again to one of my favorite cities – Buenos Aires, Argentina. Que bueno!
To give you a taste, here’s what I’m thinking of taking. (The weather has been bright and sunny, with highs around 80.)
